About Us

B&B Mr - My Resort is a small, elegant residence in the historic center of Florence, located just a block from the Galleria dell'Accademia and a short walk from the Duomo. Inside, a cloister-garden provides guests with peaceful moments and the chance to share travel experiences, while the wellness space in the oldest part of the building offers relaxation and candlelit pampering for a romantic and unforgettable escape.

Mr - My Resort is a haven of personalized and exclusive hospitality, quickly becoming your "special place" where you can easily find information about nearby art landmarks such as the renowned Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Pitti, the Museum of San Marco, and the Ponte Vecchio.

During your stay, we’ll be delighted to offer recommendations for restaurants and suggest romantic sunset strolls through the ancient streets of our wonderful city...

The building that now houses the Bed and Breakfast dates back to the 14th century. The extensive restoration was personally overseen by the owners, who also dedicated themselves to sourcing furnishings. They took pleasure in creating a style where antique and modern elements blend, resulting in soft, enchanting atmospheres. It’s easy to leave the outside world behind and immerse yourself in the charm of an ancient home that feels like a familiar place to focus solely on your loved ones and your own enjoyment.

How to Reach the B&B

Where the B&B is Located

Located in the historic center, the area where the B&B is situated is easily accessible by car, with several paid parking garages within 50-100 meters. However, we recommend using the train whenever possible, as it is the most convenient way to reach Florence’s historic center. The main train station, Firenze SMN, is no more than a 10-15 minute walk from our B&B. Ideal for an art and gastronomy stay, Mr - My Resort is also perfectly positioned for those attending the Pitti Immagine Uomo fair and cultural events held at the beautiful Fortezza da Basso, just 10-15 minutes on foot.

The B&B Mr - My Resort is located on a quiet street reserved for private residences, small art galleries, restoration workshops, and several popular local spots beloved by residents: a superb pastry shop, a couple of excellent coffee bars, two of the city's most cherished restaurants, a charming fruit and vegetable shop, and a well-stocked supermarket. This is a very tranquil and safe area (with the police station just around the corner), far from the bustling and chaotic atmosphere of some of the city's more "hot" spots. Yet, the delightful trattorias near the San Lorenzo Market are just a short walk away, and pubs, souvenir shops, and late-night venues are all within the nearby streets.

Don’t miss the stunning Piazza dei Miracoli with its Leaning Tower, the beautiful Cathedral, and the charming walks along the Arno River.

Cortona

A magnificent city where it's delightful to wander through the quaint streets leading up to the hermitage. Be sure not to miss the Diocesan Museum, featuring paintings by Fra Angelico.

In less than 2 hours by train from Florence SMN, Rome seamlessly blends ancient history with modernity. For a day trip, take a city tour on a sightseeing bus to see the Colosseum and Palatine Hill. Don’t miss the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, adorned with Michelangelo's frescoes.
